MY PAST PRODUCTIONS
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
A lively and youthful South African cast is reviving Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's first hit musical “Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. Produced by theatre impresario Pieter Toerien (who brought us CATS and The Phantom Of The Opera) the biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and his coat of many colours is revamped with a captivating energy.
Joseph has been a major success all over the world. The 1991 London Production ran for two years at the Palladium. A new production opened in London's West End in March 2003 and is still running.
The show features some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most famous songs including Close Every Door To Me, One More Angel In Heaven and Any Dream Will Do.
The South African cast features Anne Power as the narrator, Anton Luitingh as the Pharaoh and Earl Gregory gets his big break as Joseph. Directed by Paul Warwick Griffin, this colourful musical is choreographed by Timothy Le Roux with musical direction by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder.
After a sell out season in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, the show returns for a second South African season! Book at the Theatre on the Bay (Cape Town), Montecasino (Johannesburg) or Computicket.
